How should I format my art?
Artwork can be submitted email or, if necessary, on paper. All digital files should be 300ppi or higher resolution and sized to printable area (13"x13" standard. oversize available, email for details/quote). Acceptable file formats are PSD, PDF, AI, TIFF, or JPG. Multi-color artwork should have colors separated into layers.
I need a design! Can you help?
I can tweak designs, resize them, or make them film ready. I leave the heavy lifting up to the pros because I am not a graphic designer. If you need something designed from scratch, try talking to some of the design folks represented in the "friends" section of the clients page.
What's your turnaround time?
I try to keep my turnaround at 2 weeks or less. Occasionally, I need more time, but I can also work faster if the timing is right. Don't be afraid to ask for rush jobs!
What materials do you use?
I specialize in printing with top quality industry standard plastisol inks, but I also offer printing with water based or discharge ink. There are different needs for each job: plastisol is the most opaque and durable ink available for printing on garments and durable goods, water based is often better suited for printing on flat stock, and discharge is effective when an ultra-soft hand is desired.
What is your minimum quantity?
Minimum on one-color jobs is 12 pieces. Minimum on multi-color jobs is 20 pieces. I have printed smaller quantities, but it's rare. If you need a very short run for any reason, let's talk about your project!
Will you print on shirts that I supply?
Yes, but I prefer not to. Check with me before submitting your order and we can discuss the pros/cons of customer supplier goods. It rarely makes fiscal sense for the customer and it often makes my job more difficult.
